The lower level houses numerous exhibits of artifacts such as bowling Toys and the collection of hand-painted bowling-themed steins fired in the world famous Mettlach kilns.
One of the most photographed exhibits is the Bowling Pin Car, built on the chassis of an old Studebaker and used for years by Ohio proprietors in parades and other special events.
Some of the other exhibits explain the development of lane maintenance technology, bowling's successful effort to make the sport accessible to various physically challenged groups, and various pins and balls used hundreds of years ago in bowling type games.
